Latics Duo Relishing Old Trafford Trip

Wigan Athletic duo, keeper Ali Al-Habsi and skipper Gary Caldwell, are both relishing this afternoons game against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Al-Habsi, who was in spectacular form on Wednesday against Liverpool, says that the squad cant wait for the game and that they are very confident of getting something from the game

Ali said: 'There's no better way to test our form than to take on Manchester United away from home - we can't wait for it.

'It's one of those places everyone talks about playing at and we need to enjoy the occasion, not let it get the better of us and see where our confidence can take us.'

Whilst club captain Gary Caldwell is desperate for the Latics to continue their run of form and get a positive result from the game, Caldwell say's: 'To do something this club has never done before and get a result from Old Trafford would be very special'

'We're going there ready to give everything we've got, full of confidence and with a belief that we can do something.

'Of course, they're a top team, have home advantage and are right in the thick of a title challenge, so it'll be very difficult but an excellent opportunity to continue the strong run we're on.'
