Ronnie Stam Takes Man Of The Match Vote

Wigan Athletic wingback Ronnie Stam, has been voted the Latics man of the match for his performance in the Boxing Day defeat at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Stam had a decent game and was the Latics most creative player on the day, he set up three glorious chances with excellent crosses into the United penalty area, unfortunately no one made the run to take advantage of Stam's balls and three open goals went begging.

For the record the voting was:

Ronnie Stam - 62%
Ali Al-Habsi - 12%
Maynor Figueroa - 5%
