Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v Stoke

Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v Stoke

Latics pulled off a credible 2-2 draw with Stoke yesterday and, with a bit more luck, could have actually won the game as they created the better chances having six attempts on target to Stoke's three.

There were some good performances throughout the team, Ronnie Stam once again having a good game, Maynor Figueroa and Victor Moses also stood out, whilst Hugo put in a good shift in his first start since September, indeed he set up Vic's goal with a great pass.

The man of the match for me though was James McCarthy who has been back to his best in recent games, he turned in another great performance and stole the show for me.

So McCarthy is my Latics man of the match but who is yours? To participate in the vote simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your preferred option and then hit the submit button, it's that easy.

Evan though moses is my favorite player for me it has to be Ben Watson for tacking the penalty after he had come on early in the game.

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
