Lawro Predicts - Swindon v Latics

Lawro Predicts - Swindon v Latics

Mark 'Lawro' Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC, this week focusing on the 3rd round of the FA cup, the Match of the Day pundit is forecasting that the clash between Sindon Town and Wigan Athletic at the County Ground will end in a draw, let's take a look at his reasons:

Swindon v Wigan

This is an interesting tie, because it all seemed to be a bit manic at Swindon when Paolo di Canio took charge in the summer, but he has turned them into a winning side, and they are doing well in League Two.

They will cause Wigan some problems too. The Latics still have a habit of looking good for 20 minutes or so in some games, but then they switch off and make it too easy for the opposition.

Prediction: 1-1

I can also see this ending up a draw

Suppose it all depends on what kind of team Martinez puts out. Swindon are a good side and cause Wigan problems but they should still win so long as it's not a reserve side.
