Latics Linked With Move For Gedo - The New Zaki

Wigan Athletic are being linked with a move for Egypt international striker Mohamed Nagy, more commonly known as Gedo.

The Al-Ahly striker is currently Egypt`s hottest property and he is being touted by his representative, Menzo Messaoudi, to follow in the footsteps of Amr Zaki and become a roaring success in the Premier League.

Speaking to Sky Sports Messaoui said: 'Gedo is a fantastic lad. Honest, hardworking and is a top professional'

'His goalscoring record speaks for itself and his experience and sheer ability will benefit the right club.

'We are in talks with a few clubs at the moment, and hopefully we can bring an exciting talent to the Premier League.

'I am confident he will have a bigger impact than Amr Zaki did during his time at Wigan.'

If he makes the same impact as Zaki did he'll be worth a shout
