Redmond Joins Hamilton On Loan - Wigan Athletic
Wigan Athletic youngster, development squad captain Daniel Redmond has joined Scottish First Division side Hamilton Academicals on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20 year old defender is progressing well and Latics boss Roberto Martinez believes this loan spell will bring him on no end, speaking to the clubs official website Martinez said: 'Danny has progressed really well and he needs first team football now to take the next step.
'He will have a chance to compete for that now and we will be closely monitoring his progress in an environment that we know really well, from which we are reaping the rewards with the outstanding professionalism of James McCarthy and James McArthur.
'We wish him all the best for his Scottish adventure.'
