Walk4Emma - A Message From Jill Hoolin

The walk4emma, in aid of the Emma Hoolin Appeal, is set to be a fantastic event, with the date of the walk (11th Feb) just three weeks away there is an air of excitement about what we are hopefully going to achieve in terms of funds and awareness. Emma's mum Jill has been in contact and she wants this message passed on to all those taking part:

The response to the walk has been absolutely fantastic, I hope everyone has a good day and the weather is not too harsh on all you walkers, I am eternally grateful for everyone's effort and time they have given to Emma's cause.

I have spoke with the consultants over here in Philadelphia and I feel very positive, obviously there will still be a margin for relapse, but I am hoping it is very small. Emma is doing well, at first the immunotherapy would floor her, but now she is managing to get out of bed and play for a while, her energy levels are also increasing.

We are half way through and she has her scans next week.

The day of the walk is the day we got Emma's diagnosis last year February 11th 2011, how uncanny is that.

Have fun on the day, that's what it's all about!
