Bullard for England
Jimmy Bullard is still available for Sven Goran Eriksson to pick for England after Germany have turned down the chance to take him for their squad.
German assistant coach Joachim Low said "I know about Bullard but we want players with a German passport and a close connection to the country."
Bullard holds the Wigan record for consecutive league appearances with 122 having not missed a match since he signed from Peterborough in January 2003. He has scored twice this season against West Brom and Arsenal.
