Meet The Ref - Latics v Everton - Anthony Taylor

The Wigan Athletic v Everton Premier League clash at the DW Stadium on Saturday will be officiated by Anthony Taylor, who, in my opinion, is the most incompetent referee currently operating in the top flight, and by the standard of the rest of the jokers you know he is going to be a shocker!

Taylor gave possibly the worst display of refereeing I have ever witnessed last season when he took charge of the Latics v Fulham game, he actually booked Maynor Figueroa for receiving a forearm smash in the face from Clint Dempsey, the guy was a joke in that game.

We have been blessed with some extremely poor refereeing displays this season, let's hope that 'Terrible' Taylor doesn't live up to his pre-match billing

The Wythenshawe based official was at Wolves on Tuesday, he took charge of Liverpool's 3-0 win at Molineux, Saturday will be the first time this season he has been in charge of either a Latics or Everton game.

He's an absolute shocker!

Excellent, getting the excuses in early - blaming the ref before we've even played?!
guitardave
Why not? He is awful, for both sides too
worbo
So we should expect a call or two in our favour? But really, all the refs are poor in this league, thank God it isnt Clattenburg or Atkinson, never want to see those two around Eveton again!
