Lawro Predicts - Norwich v Latics

Lawro Predicts - Norwich v Latics

Mark 'Lawro' Lawrenson has done his weekly round of Premier League predictions for the BBC, the Match of the Day pundit is forecasting that Sunday's clash between Norwich City and Wigan Athletic at Carrow Road will end in a home win, let's take a look at his reasons:

Norwich v Wigan (Sunday 4pm)

Latics owner Dave Whelan does not lose his temper very often but it would appear he was furious after Wigan lost at home to Swansea in their last outing.

I think it was their poor display and non-performance that did it because he must be used to seeing them lose by now.

Norwich were also unhappy after losing at Stoke last week but blaming a throw-in that went against them for the Potters' goal was a bit silly, because they were still allowed to defend it weren't they? How far back do you want to go?

But the Canaries still gave it a real go and they are not a team that anybody rolls over. They will throw the kitchen sink at Wigan here too.

Prediction: 2-1

I'm going for a 1-1 draw, we are much better away from home

We need points, so going for a draw or we may even sneak it! But I'll say 1-1...we must improve on last week
