Lawro Predicts - Latics v West Brom

Mark 'Lawro' Lawrenson has done his weekly round of Premier League predictions for the BBC, the Match of the Day pundit is forecasting that Saturday's clash between Wigan Athletic and West Bromwich Albion at the DW Stadium will end in a draw, let's take a look at his reasons:

Wigan v West Brom

I just never know with Wigan what you are going to get. They could have nicked a win against Norwich rather than drawing 1-1.

They play some really nice football and you sometimes wonder how they are in the position that they are in.

But their home form is really poor. Chairman Dave Whelan criticised them after they were beaten at home by Swansea and it seems to me that they don't appear to grasp the situation that they are in.

They beat relegation on the last day of last season and they might be thinking they will do that again which is dangerous.

West Brom might have been beaten at Manchester United last week but they played well. I think they know they are safe from the drop and are playing with a bit more confidence.

Manager Roy Hodgson will keep driving them on as he will not be satisfied. I'll probably go for a draw which West Brom will take but Wigan don't want.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Got to disagree there Lawro, Latics win for me, 2-0
