Kent Provides A Little Bit Of Norway In Wigan

Wigan Athletic supporter Kent Rabben may be Norwegian by birth, he may also live in Norway, but his heart is most definitely in Wigan.

Having followed the Latics for close on 9 years, since we were a Championship side, Kent has been over to the UK on numerous occasions to watch the lads in blue, he has made some good friends over here on his visits and he has also made some fantastic memories>

Kent, who hails from Bergen, was over last weekend to catch the Latics home win against Stoke, he flew home on Sunday but will be back in England on Saturday to see the Latics take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

Kent arrived early and joined us for the 'Meet and Greet' with the players before the Stoke game and then he made himself at home in the supporters club for a hour or so before kick-off, that may explain what happened at half-time!

For those of you that witnessed the penalty challenge you may recall the last person to take a penalty getting all excited after scoring and ending up in the back of the goal, tangled in the net and almost destroying the goals at the South Stand end, yep that was our Kent

Kent will be back in Wigan for the final game of the season when we face Wolves on the 13th May, until then Kent, practice your celebrations, please.

Latics v Wolves - Big Game Preview

There is a little bit of pressure starting to mount down at the Latics, no win in seven games and sitting bottom of the pile, the sooner we can get a three points haul in the bag the better.

Gary Caldwell felt that his team were unlucky not to win the game at Preston on Friday never mind lose it, a wickedly deflected effort early on followed by some resolute defending kept the Latics at bay, but a failure to take two excellent chances was the downfall as we lost by the odd goal for the 7t
