Walk4Emma Update - Wigan Athletic

With the Walk4Emma having taken place eight weeks ago this coming Saturday I thought it would be a good time to give an update

Firstly I'd like to say a massive thanks to everyone who supported the event, from the people who helped with the organisation, those who helped to publicise it, the caterers, the walkers and the donators, I believe that Walk4Emma was a success and that was due to everyone pulling in the same direction, so thanks to you all.

Right then, how much did we make, well as of yesterday (Monday 2nd April) the figure that I can officially attribute to the Walk4Emma is a fantastic 17,040.28

This is an amazing figure and one that we can all be proud of achieving

I'm sure that most people are aware that Emma has returned to the UK following treatment in the US and she is doing very well, Emma's blog contains the following message:

After five gruelling month in the USA, the Hoolin family are delighted to finally be back home in Wigan!

Emma's treatment has gone as well as we could have possibly hoped. Her last scans showed that there is currently no sign of cancer. Emma is growing stronger by the day.

The Hoolins are taking some time to settle back in to everyday life. Emma is looking forward to starting school and she is thoroughly enjoying being back home amongst family and friends.

The future starts now and hopefully it is one free from cancer!
