Shaun Maloney - Man Of The Match v Man U

Wigan Athletic attacking midfield man Shaun Maloney has taken the plaudits by being voted the Vital Wigan man of the match for his performance on Wednesday night when he topped off a great personal display by curling in the winning goal from the edge of the area in Latics 1-0 victory over Manchester United, a fantastic goal for the former Celtic man and a very, very important strike in the battle to avoid the drop.

Maloney has been nothing short of sensational since he broke into the team in mid-March and he has been instrumental in the Latics great form of late

The vote was:

Shaun Maloney - 34%
All of the above - 32%
Ali Al-Habsi - 9%

Shaun Maloney - On fire
