Vital Wigan Player Of The Season 2011/12



The votes have all been cast, the verifying committee have counted and re-counted, so the Vital Latics Wigan Athletic player of the season, 2011/12 can now be announced, a massive well done to club skipper Gary Caldwell who took 50% of the votes

Gary Caldwell has been superb this season and he has led the team through example, I spoke with Caldwell at the clubs training ground this morning and he said: 'Thank you very much to all who voted for me, I hope we can now get the job done at Blackburn on Monday and make this a season to remember'

Ali Al-Habsi was runner up with 26% and Franco Di Santo in 3rd place with 10% of the votes
