Early Team News - Latics v Wolves

Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers meet at the DW Stadium tomorrow (Sunday) in the final game of the season, with the Latics already safe and Wolves condemned to the dreaded drop a couple of weeks ago there wont be too much pressure on the players, so we could be treated to an open game of football

Latics boss Roberto Martinez is likely to field an unchanged side with just squad player Dave Jones unavailable for the game through injury, expect the Latics to line up with Ali Al-Habsi in goal, a back three of Antolin Alcaraz, Gary Caldwell and Maynor Figueroa. Wing backs Emmerson Boyce and Jean Beausejour will provide defensive cover and offensive options.

Midfield duo James McCarthy and James McArthur will be allowed to continue their fantastic form of late in the centre, whilst Shaun Maloney will once again be given his roving free role just behind the front men, Victor Moses and Franco Di Santo

Latics probable: Al Habsi; Boyce, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Beausejour, McArthur, McCarthy, Moses, Maloney, Di Santo

Wolves boss Terry Connor has a few more injury worries than Martinez, goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is out following an operation on his injured knee, whilst defender Christophe Berra and winger Michael Kightly are doubts with respective calf and groin strains.

Sebastien Bassong, Kevin Foley (both hamstring), Matt Jarvis (groin) and David Davis (head) face fitness tests.

Wolves possible: De Vries; Stearman, Berra, Zubar, Henry, Kightly, Edward, Ward, Hunt, Fletcher, Doyle
