Soccer AM Make MND Donation For Martinez Goal

Sky Sports' Soccer AM show have made a 200 donation to the MND Association, this follows their broadcast of Roberto Martinez's goal for the Latics Legends on last weekends 'Showboat' section of the show

The copyright of the film of the action is owned by Anchor Video of Hindley, they kindly came to the agreement with Sky which is obviously of great benefit to the MND Association

As some of you will recall the game was played as a benefit game for Wigan woman Angela Charles who is suffering from Motor Neurone Disease, Angela came home from hospital yesterday (Wednesday), after a five week stay, following some work at her home allowing her to be cared for in a comfortable environment, the family are hoping to put the money raised from the game to good use and are looking into the possibility of acquiring a DynaVox Eyemax communicator because Anglea is 'locked-in'

The computer based communicator allows the operator to have a voice through using their eyes as a mouse and operating preloaded words and sentences to communicate with their carers and family

DVD copies of the Latics Legends v Golborne Sports Vets are available at just 5 each, the proceeds will go to the Angela Charles benefit fund

If you wish to order a DVD you can do so by either contacting Anchor Video direct at dave@anchorvideoproductions.co.uk or Vital Wigan at wigan@vitalfootball.co.uk, mark your email Latics Legends DVD
