Caldwell, Maloney & McArthur Get A Trouncing!

Wigan Athletic trio Shaun Maloney, James McArthur and Gary Caldwell all started for Scotland as the Tartan Army got turned over by a rampant USA in Jacksonville

Jurgen Klinsmans side were two up within 11 minutes, Landon Donavon (4 mins) and Michael Bradley finding the net, on 14 minutes Scotland pulled a goal back when Kenny Millers header took a ricochet off US defender Cameron

The second half brought two more Donavon goals and a Jermaine Jones effort to leave the Scots downtrodden, 5-1 not the return to the international fold that Shuan Maloney was hoping for

USA: Howard; Cherundolo, Cameron, Bocanegra, Johnson; Jones, Edu, Bradley; Torres, Boyd, Donovan.

Scotland: McGregor, Bardsley, Caldwell, Webster, Mulgrew, Brown, Bannan, McArthur, Phillips, Maloney, Miller.
