Martinez Does A Spot Of Scouting At The Euros



Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez will be spending the next three weeks working for ITV Sport doing a spot of punditry for their Euro2012 coverage, but he will also be doing a little scouting for potential recruits for the Latics

Known as a workaholic, Martinez has already started casting his eye over players when he took in the Greece national squad training session in Warsaw yesterday (Thursday).

Latics owner Dave Whelan says that Martinez has taken a list with six players on it to cast his eye over whilst he has the opportunity, speaking to the Wigan Evening Post Whelan said: 'Roberto is looking for players.

'He'll be watching quite a lot of football over there.

'He's got half a dozen on his list that he wants to look at and he's always looking at other players.

'He's always working. He never stops working.'


Martinez has already indicated that he has his eye on players at the Euro's stating that their value may rise if they have a good tournament, now we can spend the next three weeks trying to guess who they are!
