Steve Bruce Swaps Harrods For Home & Bargain

Former Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce has been appointed the new manager of Championship club Hull City

Bruce, who enjoyed a relatively successful period at the DW Stadium taking over from Chris Hutchings in November 2007, quit the Latics for the second time in his career when he joined Sunderland in May 2009, having left for Crystal Palace back in May 2001 having spent just six weeks in charge

The former Manchester United defender did little to endear himself to the Latics faithful when he joined Sunderland and gave a parting shot at the Latics saying at the time that he could now 'shop at Harrods rather than Tesco', perhaps being in the Championship with cash ridden Hull he may just well find himself in Home and Bargains for his purchases!
