Wigan Athletic Eye Sochaux Striker Modibo Maïga
Wigan Athletic are looking to sign FC Sochaux striker and Mali international Modibo Maïga with the 24 year old believed to be at the top of Roberto Martinez's shopping list
Maïga looked set to be joining Newcastle in January but conflicting reports suggest that either he failed a medical or terms on the transfer deal couldn't be agreed between the two clubs
The Latics have been following Maïga's progress for over a year now and Martinez is believed to be very impressed with the striker who has 24 goals in just 59 appearances for Sochaux
