The Latics Top 50 Pen Pictures

Vital Wigan members and posters have produced a Latics Top 50 Footballers list and there are some great players on that list and their names really do conjure up some fantastic memories

The list was created as a bit of fun, nothing too serious, as if we'd dare, and it was done in response to the appearance on the Crystal Palace Top 50 players of our very own Emmerson Boyce

So the list was created and I thought it would be a good idea if the members and posters who had suggested their favourites would write a little pen picture on the player they had chosen, what a response!

I propose to publish the pen pictures individually, in no particular order, giving the authors credit, they will appear on the Front Page of Vital Wigan with the title of Vital Latics Top 50 - Players Name, there are still a few pen pictures that need writing, if you are willing to do so please look at the list here and contact me via the PM facility on the forum

Once again a massive thank you to all those who contributed with their original pieces, they are fantastic

There is another Latics website conducting a similar poll to the one we've done, where ours was a bit of fun I think theirs is a little more scientific, if you would like to contribute to that one then visit TNS to participate
