Moses Set To Swap Latics Blue For Chelsea Blue?

It's being reported by several national news outlets that Chelsea are set to increase their initial offer, which was rejected out of hand, for Wigan Athletic striker Victor Moses

A reputed opening bid of 3 million was turned down flat by Latics owner Dave Whelan a couple of weeks back, he told Chelsea at the time that they were 'taking the Mickey' with their offer and to come back when they were serious, well it looks like that might now be the case

The rumours doing the circuits are suggesting that the new package put together by the West London club is an initial down payment of 7 million with a further 3 million in add-ons, whether that will be enough to tempt the Latics to part with their prize asset remains to be seen, Crystal Palace are also due to receive 20% of any fee that the Latics get and this could prove an influence on what Whelan is looking for from Chelsea...time will tell

He'll go, but for his development he'd be better off staying at least one more season with us
worbo
I'd welcome him at Chelsea. He's as good as anyone and he'll make it at the Bridge for sure.
BOTUM
Chelsea and youth development don't go hand in hand
@Mq
Moses has to learn how to defend to survive under RDM otherwise, like Sturridge, he'll be labelled as selfish
@Mq
He isnt very defensive at all!
worbo
we ll welcome him with open arms and @ Mq, moses is not exactly in the same category as feruz, piazon etc. He is a first time player and will not be shock if chelsea ditch the pursuit of hulk all together to focus fully on moses and maybe adam johnson.
