Adrian Mariappa Linked Again To The Latics
Wigan Athletic are being linked with a move for Watford defender Adrian Mariappa according to both the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror
Roberto Martinez showed interest in the 25 year old centre half back in January, Newcastle United were also in the hunt for Jamaica international at that time but a proposed deadline day move to St. James` Park never materialised
Newly promoted Premier League sides Reading and Southampton have also declared their interest, but if both the Mail and the Mirror are to believed then it's the Latics who have made the first move with a bid around the £3 million mark

Worbo, can I just ask, how accurate is this article? I would honestly LOVE to see this fella at Wigan. Have we actually placed a bid at 3M or is it just paper talk?
