They're Off! - Ostersunds FK 0-1 Wigan Athletic
Wigan Athletic got their preseason off to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Swedish side Ostersunds FK, courtesy of a 51st minute Jordi Gomez penalty after Ben Watson was fouled in the area
This game is now becoming the Latics traditional preseason opener with boss Roberto Martinez taking advantage of his connections at Ostersunds for the fourth year in a row
