Mauro Boselli opened the scoring for the Latics on 30 mins with a sweet volley from a Crusat cross, he was then replaced by Conor Sammon

Hoffenheim made the scores level on 40 minutes when Delpierre scored from a corner. The sides leave the field at half-time all square

The Latics starting line up for the second half is: Pollitt, Boyce, Lopez, Mustoe, Redmond, Maloney, Fyvie, Gomez, Dicko, Di Santo, Moses.
