Iván Ramis About To Sign? Wigan Athletic

According to reports in Spain, Wigan Athletic look to have finally won the race for Real Mallorca defender Iván Ramis

The Futbol des de Mallorca are reporting that the Latics have at least matched the offer that West Ham had accepted for Ramis, somewhere around €5.1 million, the 27 year old was due to have a medical at West Ham today but that never happened and it is believed that he held talks with Latics boss Roberto Martinez.

HAVE YOUR SAY
It's no secret that the Latics have been chasing Ramis for most of this preseason, it would appear that it has taken West Ham's accepted bid to stir them into action with some serious money though

No doubt this little transfer saga will still have some mileage in it yet, we'll see what happens in the morning
