Arouna Koné - Number 2 - Wigan Athletic
Listening to Roberto Martinez talk on Latics Player about new signing Arouna Koné, it would appear that our new striker will be wearing the number 2 shirt this season
For an old timer like myself seeing a centre-forward with 2 on his back will seem a little weird, but if he knocks the goals in then I won't be complaining.
Koné himself promises to give his all, he said - 'I'm going to give my all every time I put the shirt on this year and I'm sure that we can make progress in the league'
'I really hope that the fans are satisfied that I am a player who gives everything'

Ryan Taylor scored a few goals with the number 2 shirt even though he was a defender. Could it poses some kind of goal scoring luck that we don't know about?
