Ali Al Habsi Man Of The Match v Southampton

Pollsters on Vital Wigan have voted Ali Al-Habsi as the Latics man of the match for his performance in the away win at Southampton on Saturday

Ali had a great game between the posts in what were dodgy conditions for goalkeepers, a slippery surface, wet ball and rain. The Latics shot stopper produced a string of fine saves to keep a clean sheet, one in particular in the first half from Saints captain Adam Lallana stands out, Ali finger tipped his stinging drive onto the bar with a fine acrobatic save

Shaun Maloney - 30%
James McCarthy - 9%
