Jordi Gomez - Man Of The Match v Fulham

Jordi Gomez - Man Of The Match v Fulham

Jordi Gomez has been voted the Vital Wigan man of the match for his performance in the 2-1 home defeat to Fulham on Saturday, even though the Latics attacking midfield man only played the first hour

Gomez rattled the bar with a rasping shot on the half volley from 18 yards, he played intelligently all the time he was on the pitch and it was the feeling of the fans at the game that he was very unfortunate to make way for Mauro Boselli when he was substituted

For the record the voting was:

Jordi Gomez - 50%
James McCarthy - 14%
Arouna Kone 14%

Good game from Gomez

Not a lot of fans have time for Gomez. But for me when moses was at the DW he was my favorite player. But even though some say GOMEZ plays to far out. he`s fast becoming my new favorite player
