Wigan Athletic Early Team News & Injury Update

The latest news on Latics injury concerns ahead of the weekend fixture at Sunderland is that both Antolin Alcaraz and Franco Di Santo are unlikely to feature

Alcaraz has a groin injury, which Martinez confirmed as a tear, this could see the big Paraguayan out for at least a couple more weeks, whilst Di Santo is still suffering from a calf injury caused by Danny Welbecks reckless challenge at Old Trafford two weeks ago

With the Latics putting in an excellent performance in midweek at West Ham in the Capital One cup, the door could be open for a couple of changes, Mauro Boselli, Ryo Miyaichi, Callum McManaman and James McArthur all had decent games and are pushing for starts this weekend
