Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v Everton

Wigan Athletic and Everton played out an exciting and entertaining 2-2 draw on Saturday, the Latics players put in some very good performances, Ali did well in the nets once again, producing a couple of great saves, though he perhaps could have done a little better with Everton's first goal

Ivan Ramis was once again class, he really is turning into a top player for us, the midfield duo of the two James' were on top of their game, whilst Jean Beausejour was more like his old self.

The man of the match for me though has to come from one of our front three, Shaun Maloney, Franco Di Santo or Arouna Kone. Maloney was busy all game, he made the opening goal for Kone and really shone

Di Santo was on fire, a very good first half and he finished off a great move to put the Latics 2-1 ahead, he tired slightly after the break and was replaced on 84 minutes, still not 100% fit but looking very good

My man of the match though goes to Arouna Kone, a great game from the Ivory Coast international, he scored our first goal, made the second with some great running and an intelligent lay-off for Di Santo. All afternoon he was a threat to the Everton defence and was denied a second goal by a fantastic challenge from Everton defender Phil Jagielka

So Kone was my man of the match, but who was yours, to participate in the vote simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your preferred option, then hit the submit button, it's that easy
