Laticcs Players On The Road Again



Latics players find themselves on the road again during this current international break, there has been eleven call-ups from the Wigan Athletic squad for players to represent their country's in the current band of World Cup qualifiers, friendlies and under 21 international matches

Maynor Figueroa and Jean Beausejour have the farthest to travel, Figgy's Honduras face Panama away on Friday before meeting Canada on home soil on Tuesday, Beausejour is in the Chile squad for their games against Ecuador away and Argentina at home

Arouna Kone will have just the one game for the Ivory Coast, a home fixture against Senegal

Ali Al Habsi and the Oman side will play a home tie against Jordan next week, whilst Ryo Miyaichi is in the Japan squad for two friendly games against France and Brazil, the Brazil game will be played in Poland.

James McCarthy is likely to feature for the Republic of Ireland as they face Germany in Dublin and then travel to the Faroe Islands on Tuesday

Staying close to home will be Gary Caldwell, Shaun Maloney and James McArthur who have all been included in the Scotland squad for two away games, Wales on Friday and Belgium on Tuesday

Latics youngsters Fraser Fyvie and Filip Orsula will be on under 21 duty this week, Fyvie is in the Scotland squad, they have two games planned, USA and Spain, whilst Orsula is with the Slovakia squad in their play-off final for a place in the 2013 tournament, they play Holland tomorrow (Thursday) with the return leg on Monday
