Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v West Ham

A very good team performance saw the Latics get all the points on Saturday against a West Ham side that are riding high in the table. Collectively the Latics were superb, individually every player played their part

Ali had another good game, he pulled off a great save from a George McCartney cross that Yossi Benayoun was looking to get on the end of, Figgy was very good making some excellent passes, Ivan Ramis had a strong game defensively and scored what is being described in some quarters as a 'worldy' of a goal.

The two James', McCarthy and McArthur in the midfield were just tremendous, both Boycey and Beausejour put in good performances, whilst Arouna Kone gave the West Ham defence the run around all afternoon with a powerful display.

My man of the match though was Shaun Maloney, he had an incredible game, involved in almost all of the Latics moves going forward, with intelligent runs, passes and positioning he ran the game. Maloney kept the ball extremely well, he tracked back and helped out defensively when necessary and I can't recall him making a misplaced pass or getting caught in possession, brilliant game from the diminutive Scot.

So Shaun Maloney is my man of the match, but who is yours?
