Wigan Athletic - Walking For Josephs Goal

Wigan Athletic fan Carl Davies is set to walk from the Latics town centre club shop in the Grand Arcade to the DW Stadium on Saturday, ahead of the West Brom game, in aid of the charity Joseph's Goal, and Carl is asking Latics fans to come and join him

Vital Latics regular Carl, was the inspiration and driving force behind last season's 'Meet & Greets', he is certainly a man of action. The plan is to set off from the club shop at around 12:15, Carl will be carrying a collection bucket and he'll also have some @JosephsGoal wrist bands, these are for sale at £1.

Speaking about Saturday Carl say's - 'Having read about Paul Kendrick's little boy I wanted to do my bit to offer some support'

'It's no big deal walking from Wigan centre to the DW Stadium, but Saturday lunch time it will be quite packed and I will certainly draw attention to what is a great cause and hopefully raise some money through selling the wrist bands and the bucket collection'

'If more Latics fans can join me that would be fantastic, the more there are the more attention and focus we'll draw'

'We should arrive at the ground by about 12:50, just in time to see the players arrive'

If you want to join Carl on his walk, or just cheer him off, there will be a photographer in attendance, meet him outside the club shop between 12 noon and 12:15 on Saturday
