There were two major candidates for the man of the match accolade in the win over Reading on Saturday for me, Jean Beausejour and Jordi Gomez

I thought the pair of them put in terrific performances, Beausejour's delivery throughout was absolute class and he had a top game, but Jordi Gomez stole the show with a cracking hat-trick, his third goal coming in stoppage time sealed the points for the Latics.

Gomez sparkled all afternoon, some of his passes were just sublime, he put in a great shift too and with a bit of luck he could have scored at least two more goals, brilliant stuff.
