Franco Wants A 'Meet And Greet' Ahead Of QPR

This week Latics striker Franco Di Santo tweeted 'Come oooon Wigaaaaaaan!!! Now more than ever, all depend of us ... Supporters have to be with us like the last games of last season!! :D'.

Now it appears that our number 9 sees the significance of this weekend's game against QPR, we are very short on numbers and his message is surely asking for the kind of support that helped the club go on that magnificent run at the end of last season.

Ivan Ramis, Antolin Alcaraz, Gary Caldwell and Maynor Figueroa are all missing from tomorrow's game through injury or suspension, our backline really is against the wall, if ever there was a time that we needed to get behind the lads to give them a boost ahead of a massive game, then tomorrow is that time.

When one of our own players is asking for a repeat of the Meet and Greets from last season then surely we must respond.

There are already a large number of fans determined to be there at 12:45pm tomorrow (Saturday) to greet the players when they arrive at the DW Stadium, will you be there to join in?

Do we need a 'Meet and Greet' tomorrow, you bet we do

The corner of the East and South stands is the place to be, 12:45 until 1:15, let them lads know we are right behind them in what is the biggest game of the season so far
