The Latics drew 2-2 with QPR on Saturday, though in fairness if we'd have ran out 4-2 winners there would have been no complaints

We had a make shift defence and some players weren't quite 100% fit, but they all put in a hardworking performance that perhaps on any other day would have gained all the points

Beausejour and Stam were both excellent with some real quality balls into the box, but the player that stood out for me was James McCarthy. The Republic of Ireland international was simply sensational, he scored two goals and drove the Latics midfield all afternoon, a top, top performance from young James
