Meet The Ref Latics v Sunderland - Anthony Taylor

This weekends Latics v Sunderland game will be refereed by Wythenshawe official Anthony Taylor, if you thought that was bad enough, Mike Jones is the 4th official, magic!

This will be the second time this season that Taylor has been in charge of a Latics game, he was in the middle for our trip to Southampton back in August, which of course we won, in that game he didn't produce a card or make one dodgy decision, this will be the first time he referees Sunderland this campaign

In the past I have questioned Taylors competence as a top flight ref, he doesn't appear to have much authority on the pitch and he does make some strange decisions, I hope that we aren't talking about his performance come 5pm on Saturday as we were following a game with Fulham a couple of years back
