The feel good factor is back, a very good point away at Fulham followed up by a great result in the FA cup replay at Bournemouth. A trip to non-league Macclesfield in the next round on the horizon and, just to keep the excitement going, out of the bottom three
Last Saturdays performance at Craven Cottage was top class, we were very unfortunate not to have taken all three points, the only downside, it is a massive one though, is that Ivan Ramis has been ruled out for the rest of the season with knee ligament damage, he will be badly missed, class defender
The Fulham result, coupled with that of Villa's meant that we climbed out of the bottom three, with the prospect of some 'winnable' games coming up we have an opportunity to make some inroads into the 40 point target that Martinez has set for safety
Onto the Bournemouth game, a great result down on the South Coast, Bournemouth may be a League 1 side but they are very good, play excellent football and are a strong unit, being honest I feared the worst but the lads put in a great performance and it's on to the next round, which, with all due respect to Macclesfield we must fancy our chances in, nothing like a good cup run to get the fans buzzing
Back to the bread and butter of the league on Saturday, Sunderland are in town and this is one of those winnable games, we need to build on last weekend's result, three points against Martin O'Neill's side will put us on a bit of a roll, let's make some noise at the DW and get behind the lads from the off.
