Shaun Maloney - Latics Man Of The Match v Chelsea

Shaun Maloney has been voted the Vital Latics man of the match for his performance in the defeat away at Chelsea last Saturday

The game may have ended 4-1 but the Latics put in a much improved display all over the pitch and Maloney in particular was excellent, he scored a great goal and was a constant threat all the game

For the record the voting was:

Shaun Maloney - 74%
Paul Scharner - 18%
James McArthur - 4%
