Meet The Ref - Latics v Liverpool Martin Atkinson
Latics tackle Liverpool at the DW Stadium on Saturday in a 5:30pm kick-off, the referee for the game is Bradford official, Martin Atkinson
This will be Atkinson's 3rd Latics game of the season, the other two were our 2-2 home draw with Stoke back in September and our 1-0 away win at Spurs in early November
The 41 year old has been refereeing since he was 16, he was a Conference referee in 2002, but he had a rapid rise and had progressed all the way to the Premier League by 2005, known to many as one to favour the big clubs, Atkinson is very whistle happy
