Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v Man City

Despite a sterling performance at the Etihad last night, the Latics unfortunately headed back down the East Lancashire Road with nothing more than their pride

A late Carlos Tevez goal broke a few Wigan hearts when for all intents and purposes, a draw and a point was the very least the Latics deserved

Collectively we were very good, individually there were some standout performances, Antolin Alcaraz was class, Shaun Maloney and Arouna Koné were excellent, whilst Jordi Gomez was on top of his game, but for me James McCarthy was simply outstanding

The Latics youngster ran the City midfield a merry dance all night, he covered every blade of glass and looked top notch has he put in a world class performance

So James McCarthy for me but who was your Latics man of the match? To participate in the vote simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your preferred option and then hit the submit button, it is that easy
