De Zeeuw Injury Update

Arjan De Zeeuw's scan has shown no long-term injury but he will still require physio on the knee he injured in the Liverpool game.

He's still doubtful for the Chelsea and Man United games and, with Emerson Thome out for up to eight weeks with the cheekbone injury sustained in the Newcastle game, we are looking short of centre-backs.

Options include recalling David Wright from Norwich City or moving Pascal Chimbonda into the centre and playing Ryan Taylor at right-back.
