Previous Encounters - Latics v Swansea

Wigan Athletic entertain Swansea City at the DW Stadium in what is a vital game in the battle against relegation, not only for the Latics but you can bet that Newcastle, Sunderland, Norwich and Aston Villa will all be watching the game with anticipation

The first meeting between the two clubs came on the 3rd November 1984 when the Latics travelled to South Wales but came away from the Vetch with nothing after suffering a 2-0 defeat in the old Division Three.

The record between the two sides is pretty even though the Swans have had the upper hand of late

Latics and Swansea have met 22 times
