Latics Officially Relegated - I Didn't Know That

Wigan Athletic are now relegated, officially, this is something that I wasn't aware of. No not the fact that we have been relegated from the Premier League into the Championship, but the fact that it was still not rubber stamped until yesterday

The Premier League is a private company owned by its 20 participating clubs, all of whom are shareholders and as such receive a share certificate when they gain promotion, which makes them members for the Premier League for the new season ahead

Crystal Palace, Hull City and Cardiff City, along with the other 17 members received their share certificates for the 2013/14 season at the AGM which was held yesterday in Darlington, unfortunately we weren't invited to the party and along with Reading and QPR we're officially relegated , it all seems very formal

Yeah. I was keeping my fingers crossed that Newcastle and Stoke might vote to keep us in :)
