DW South Stand Remains Reserved Seating - Latics

Wigan Athletic have announced that the South Stand will now be a reserved seating stand, not unreserved as previously stated

The Latics had decided that they would make the South Stand at the DW Stadium unreserved to allow supporters who were occasionally accompanied to games by other family members or friends to be able to sit together

But following a large number of requests from supporters renewing their season tickets to keep to the old system of it being a reserved seating stand, the club have listened and supporter voice as won the day

Making a special announcement and taking time off from the new manager search, Latics Chief Executive Jonathan Jackson said: 'We have listened to our supporters and although we were trying to be flexible, it is clear that our family Season Ticket Holders in the South Stand preferred the previous system of having their own seat reserved for each game, and we are more than happy to accommodate them in making the South Stand a reserved seating stand next season.'

Well done Latics, common sense prevails
