Latics Set To Sign Latest Honduras Star

Wigan Athletic are being linked with yet another Honduras international, 25 year old defender Juan Carlos Garcia

With Maynor Figueroa leaving the Latics at the end of last season it left the club a little light on Catrachos, just Roger Espinoza, fear not though, it appears that boss Owen Coyle has stepped up to the mark to snap up Olimpia left back Garcia

The 6' 2 international is a free agent after allowing his contract with Olimpia to run down and is set to join the Latics (according to the Mirror) now that Honduras have been knocked out of the Gold Cup by the USA

Garcia can play both left back and central defence, making him a player with similar attributes to Figueroa, he can also, like Figgy, score a spectacular goal as seen in the video below

Community Shield Travel

Vital Latics family coaches are once again heading down to Wembley for the third time in five months, having played and won the FA Cup semi-final, then of course winning the Cup final at England's national stadium, it is time to make the trip again as Wigan Athletic take part in this seasons Community Shield game against Manchester United

With some hard bargaining the cost as been brought down and the price of a return ticket on the Family Coach is just £27:50. We will be using the same pick-up points as we used for our two previous trips and we will also be stopping off at Bicester once again

As with the last two trips we will also be supporting Josephs Goal by means of a raffle and quiz

There is a breakfast buffet (£6:50) available at our stop off for those who wish to have a spot of breakie, for more details and how to book please click here
