DeZeeuw questions Future

The influential captain returned to Wigan for a second spell, after leaving Wigan four years ago for Portsmouth. DeZeeuw enjoyed three succesful season with Pompey before returning to the Latics.

Yet despite starting all six of Wigans opening Premiership fixtures, the 36-year-old doubts whether he will be playing for Paul Jewells side in future seasons.

'I do doubt whether I'll be palying at Wigan next season, but you never know.' He told thr Manchester Evening news.

'I would possibly consider going back to Holland to play, but thats a bit further ahead.'

'I haven't really given much thought to my future palns because the focus point at the moment has been the birth of my latest child and once we are settled again we will make a decision about the future.'
