Tickets Please - Maribor v Latics Extra's Arrived

Wigan Athletic supporters who wanted to make the journey to Slovenia for the final group game in the Europa League, but were worried about getting hold of a match ticket can now breathe a little easier

Latics opponents NK Maribor have sent a further allocation of 940 over to Wigan for the game that takes place on December 12th, the new batch are priced at £17 with no concessions and will go on sale to season ticket holders at 9.00am on Wednesday 20 November, with any tickets remaining going to general sale from 10.00am on Saturday 23 November.

Tickets may be purchased by visiting the DW Stadium ticket office in person between 9.00am - 5.00pm weekdays, or 10-3pm on Home match days or by calling 0871 66 33 552.

A pleased Latics CEO Jonathan Jackson said - 'This is great news for our fans and I want to place on record our thanks to NK Maribor and the Slovenian police for being receptive to the idea of increasing the allocation for Wigan Athletic. We have been working hard behind the scenes to secure tickets for the game and hopefully this will help to satisfy the big demand.

'Our supporters have been incredible in the way they have backed us for the Europa League and it is fitting we have been able to reward them with these tickets. The team will now be roared on by another large following on what will be an historic night for the club.'

Was the extra allocation of tickets ever in doubt? Don't think so.
